Our EDMS “Global Document Management System” software which is being used in the West Qurna I Produced Water 2 (PW2) project, which is being constructed by ENKA İnşaat under the Employer of ExxonMobil, has been evaluated as the “Best Practice” as a result of the audit performed by ExxonMobil in the field of engineering.
The main purpose of the audit has been to assess compliance with ISO 9001, Project Requirements and Corporate Engineering Procedures, and to identify potential risks, together with the project engineering process.
“Common Data Environment (CDE)” offered by EDMS provides benefits for the cooperation of different disciplines such as process, mechanics, structural design & piping, instrument & control systems and electrical systems under the engineering department. Audit result states that IDC process is being performed through EDMS by using “Review Cycle – Collaboration” tools are in accordance with “Internal Document Control Procedure”.
As a result of the audit and evaluation carried out by ExxonMobil, it was stated that EDMS, which is used extensively in the project, is well-established and maintained within the project and provides follow-up and traceability in disciplinary approvals as well as document management.
